The Homestretch Internship Program strives to:

·          Provide high school juniors and seniors with experience in a challenging, real work environment

·          Develop a more competent local workforce by exposing these young people to the skills and competencies needed to be successful in the future

·          Enable companies to tap into the creative talents of young people while adding value to their business

·          Broaden students' understanding of the opportunities which exist for them in Silicon Valley

·          Motivate the students to pursue math, science and computer classes
